Job Title: Stores Attendant.
The National Drug Authority is an autonomous body which was established by the National Drug Policy and Authority Act Cap 206, Laws of Uganda.
Responsibilities;
• Arrange dossiers and samples in the stores.
• Carry dossiers and sample boxes from the receiving point to stores.
• Assist in filling and making photocopies of documents.
Other Requirements;
• High level of integrity.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of documents.
• Willingness and ability to lift dossiers and other items as needs arise.

Laboratory Attendant Job Vacancy at National Drug Authority in Uganda

Job Title: Laboratory Attendant.
The National Drug Authority is an autonomous body which was established by the National Drug Policy and Authority Act Cap 206, Laws of Uganda.
Responsibilities;
• Ensure cleanliness of the laboratory , laboratory equipment and work bench stores according to SOPs and in adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 standard and WHO Good Practices for Quality Control Laboratories.
• Organize and ensure cleanliness of laboratory stores
• Collect used glass ware and forward to laboratory assistant for treatment and washing .
Qualifications;
• Certificate in Science Laboratory Technology (Chemistry).
Minimum Experience;
• At least two years of experience in a quality control laboratory or other relevant field.

Malaria Services Officer Job Opportunity at World Vision in Uganda

Job Title: Malaria Services Officer.
World Vision Uganda is a Christian Relief , Development and Advocacy Non- Governmental Organization. Dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.
Responsibilities;
• Coordinate the development of the district micro plans for the distribution of LLIMS.
• Coordinate linkages between the district health team and village health teams to maintain linkages and collaboration during the distribution.
• Carry-out regular visits and updates on malaria to the respective district officials .
Qualifications;
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Science / Degree in nursing with at least 3 years experience preferably in malaria /health project implementation.
• Post Graduate Diploma in a relevant field is an added advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work with various partners including MOH, local governments, CBOs and other NGOs.
