Makerere University is currently governed by the Universities and other Tertiary Institutions Act , 2001 of the Republic of Uganda .
Qualifications
•Hold a PhD/Academic Doctorate or Masters in Clinical discipline
•Be at least at the level of Associate Professor in an institution whose academic ranking is comparable with Makerere University or the applicant should be at a position two levels below the policy making organ ;
•Be at least of the age range of 40-60 years at the time of application
•Be a Ugandan Citizen
