Job Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Office, the role is to carry out overall M&E strategy development, alignment and implementation of related activities within the region

Key Accountabilities:
•    Take leadership in developing, disseminating and internalization of the organizations’ theory of change among the staff and key stakeholders
•    Review current practices with the view to ensuring joint development of a shared M&E system based on the existing programs and systems
•    Develop strategies to institutionalize M&E expertise within regional programs
•    Identify key performance indicators and parameters for monitoring project performance and comparing it to target
•    Manage the M&E budget to ensure all approved funds are spent and reported in line with donor regulations

Qualification, Relevant Work Experience and Skills
•    Bachelors Degree in Statistics, demography or quantitative economics or other relevant field is strongly preferred.
•    At least 5 years experience in impact indicators, information/data gathering, impact assessments and quantitative analysis
•    Experience in monitoring and evaluating community community regional programs
•    Designing and establishing comprehensive M&E systems

Job Description:
The Rural Electrification Agency is the Secretariat of the Rural Electrification Board as established by Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 75.

Job Requirements:
Main Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Head Procurement and Disposal Unit, he/she will coordinate, monitor and provide technical support in the implementation of procurement and disposal activities in accordance with existing procurement procedures and laws, to ensure value for money

Key Responsibilities:
•    Planning procurement and disposal activities
•    Handling all micro procurements
•    Advising user departments on individual procurement performance Measurement System
•    Support the timely entry of data into the procurement performance measurement system
•    Support the Head Procurement and Disposal Unit in monitoring contract management by user departments
•    Participate in the evaluation of bids
•    Ensure proper maintenance of procurement and disposal records
•    Supervise, mentor, coach and evaluate performance of subordinate staff
Performance Specifications:
•    An honors Bachelors Degree in Procurement obtainable from a recognized awarding institution
•    Full professional qualification in Procurement/ purchasing & Supply Chain Management
•    At least 3 years work experience in a busy public sector entity handling procurement of goods, works and services
•    Must have sound knowledge of computer applications
•    Must be conversant with the public procurement and Disposal of Public Assets
•    High level of integrity and interpersonal skills
