Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Research
• Proactively work with member organizations to identify information and research needs within the child rights sector and develop strategies for addressing them and/ or define a research agenda for the Network.
• Coordinate the execution of research undertaking by the UCRNN Secretariat.
• Collate, and synthesize child rights data and information generated by UCRNN members and disseminate it to relevant audiences.
• Work with the programme development team to mobilize resources for research and advocacy undertakings of the Network.
2. Information
• Profile and communicate the work of UCRNN members and the secretariat to relevant audiences
• Establish and maintain effective relations with the media so as to mainstream and  profile child rights issues and concerns
• Coordinate the development and dissemination of information and visibility materials
• Establish and maintain  an information hub/website at the UCRNN Secretariat on key child rights issues
3. Advocacy
• Work with members to  identify key child rights advocacy issues and develop an advocacy strategy for the Network.
• Coordinate the implementation of UCRNN’s advocacy strategy
• Establish/maintain partnerships and engage with relevant actors at national and international level to advance the network’s agenda.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The applicant should hold a A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, SWSA, Development Studies, Mass Communication, Law and other human rights related fields . A post graduate qualification in any of the above fields is preferred.
• At least three years experience in an advocacy related position within the NGO sector.
• Middle to senior level managerial experience of not less than 2 years
• Experience in working in multi-actor contexts including coalitions and networks

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
