Eligibility Criteria
Familiarity /understanding of the Ugandan context , the nutrition situation in Uganda, key stakeholders , the Sun Uganda platform , donor nutrition and agriculture related priorities and other relevant nutrition programming .
Understanding of the interface between nutrition , health , agriculture , food security , livelihoods/economic development , gender and resilience .
Ability to monitor and coordinate implementation plans , targets , objectives and indicators .
Requirements
Advanced university degree in Communication, Social Sciences , Behavioral Sciences , Public Health , Nutrition or other related field . A Masters degree in Health Communication is an added advantage .
A minimum of 5 years experience working in health-related communication , and/or Social and
Behaviour change Communications, and/or social /community mobilization
Excellent coordination skills , negotiation skills and oral and written communication skills
Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task;
Ugandan nationals are strongly preferred

Job Description:

Qualifications:
• Completion of a diploma in accounting , budgeting or management is required .
Work experience required :
• Three years of progressively responsible work in financial management , particularly related to budgeting and funds control is required .
• Knowledge required. Knowledge of budgeting and funds control is required .
Skills and Abilities required:
• Must be able to relate funds management with mission , programs and project at post and must be able to understand budget management implications of changes in priorities .
• Should be able to summarise information orally and in writing to present in a present in a precise and timely manner .
Selection Process
• After an initial application screening , applicants will be invited to a testing process that may include a written examination and oral interviews .
• The selected candidate must pass pre-employment medical and security investigations before beginning work .
• The initial appointment period is one year subject to renewal .
• Normally , candidates for employment are hired at the first step of the designated pay grade .
• In some instances , candidates may be hired at a higher step when exceptional qualifications or previous governmental service and pay level so warrant .

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Promote Joint Medical Store products and services.
2. Implement promotional plans for JMS products and services.
3. Recruit new customers for JMS and implement initiatives to retain them.
4. Conduct effective and targeted market intelligence to monitor the market environment, explore new business opportunities and recommend initiatives to address them.
5. Carry-out customer surveys, market analysis and submit informative reports to immediate supervisor.
6. Organize and attend promotional events, exhibitions and presentations.
Qualifications and experience:
• A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Health related field with a bias in marketing.
• Possession of professional qualification CIM will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 year’s working experience in Sales & Marketing of Fast Moving Consumer Goods or pharmaceutical business.
Computer literacy including experience in use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Proven experience in customer and market research.
• Relevant product and industrial knowledge.

• Well developed Oral and written communication skills.
• Able to prioritize work load, use initiative, work as part of and lead a team.
