Job Title: ONL Business Development Advisor
Oxfarm is an international consideration of 17 affiliates networked together in more than 90 countries to end poverty .
Responsibilities
To develop and implements an outreach strategy , plan and budget for the country office , including incubation guidelines /procedures for partiner selection
To develop and implements an outreach strategy and plan to potential social entrepreneurs
To build a network among potential social business leads incubation organizations , local investment funds and institutional donors .
To raise funds ( in coordination with the Institutional Funding Officer in country and the Funding team in the Netherlands) for incubation activities
To document and share good and innovative incubation practices with ON Impact Investiment colleagues and the country team and feeds into mid-term and end evaluations.
Requirements
A University degree in Economics or finance , preferably a MBA in Business Development or CFA
A minimum of five years experience in consulting services to social enterprises , leading market studies , developing business plans , providing /overseeing training and support programs and/or leading a social enterprises leading market studies , developing business plans , providing/overseeing training and support programs and/or leading a social enterprise successfully.
Proven project/budget management experience, including monitoring
Awareness of the legal and operating environment for small and medium enterprises in Uganda and East Africa
Ability to work effectively in an international team , balancing diverse intetests and diversity .

Accountabilities
Daily risk reporting , analysis and commentary including weekly review of bank testing failures. This includes VaR proxy decisions , collating of historic data , discussion of risk positions reviewing of limits based on liquidity , design and implementation of appropriate market risk reports , reporting to ALCO, Economics capital reporting etc
Ensuring the accuracy of the Mark-to-market pricing models and liaison with Market risk methords for assistance on quantitative matters .
Limit and trigger monitoring .
Supporting the bank’s New Product Process by participating in the New Product roll outs
Profile
ACCA and /or Quantitative degree
2-3 years post university work experience . Exposure to treasury /derivative products , project management and IT will be beneficial . An understanding of the objectives and operations of Market.
Risk Department or ALM Department would be an advantage
Good understanding of the products traded in a treasury /derivative environment and the treasury processes
Ability to multi task, network and to be able to communicate with people at different levels
Analytical with good planning and problem solving skills
Strategic as well as an operational thinker and implementer
