Responsibilities:
• To provide overall  leadership in the implementation  of  Build  Africa  Uganda’s  Program  Strategy.
• This post is accountable  for the development  and implementation  of programs  approaches and projects  in line with  BAU’s  strategy  to ensure  maximum impact  and value for money
• The post involves  strengthening  Build Africa  Uganda’s  programs  strategies  , improving  programs  quality  , partinerships and accountability  to  funders in accordance  with  organizational  and donor policies
Qualifications:
• Minimum  of a  relevant  master’s  degree  from  a recognized  University  with at least  8 years  demonstrated  experience  implementing  development  projects. Experience  working  with an international  NGO  , in  a similar  position , implementing  education  , livelihood, Child  protection and  Gender  programs  an added  advantage .
• Comfortable  working  in an  environment  that  espouses  thinking  outside  the box  , constantly  questioning  the status  quo  and continuously  improving  programs
• Track record  of developing  and managing  projects  which  create  measurable , cost-effective  impact
• Ability  to travel  and spend  time  in the  field

• Provide  general  product  quality  advice
• Assessing  current  Quality  Assurance  practices  for the  different supply chain  and determine  the need for  and agree on any  additional  measures .
• Monitoring  all  product  Quality  Assurance  practices  for  conformance  with  requirements  of the  Product Quality Monitoring  Framework . Specifically monitor  and report  on  Quality Assurance  practices  concerning  differentiated fuels
• Capture, monitor  and report  on any  Product  Quality  incidents .

Minimum  Requirements:

• The  candidate  should  have a  University  degree  in either  Sciences  or Engineering , with  at least  3 years  experience , and
• Should preferably  have worked  or be  working  with  laboratory  services, or  have  been  involved in Product Quality .

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for  implementing   a high  quality  livelihood  program  in the  Kumi  Area Program  including  monitoring  , evaluation  , and  reporting  .
• S/he  will ensure  the  practice  and institutionilisation  of a  culture of innovation  and creativity  in  programs  .
• The job-holder  will  be  expected  to continually observe  the day-to-day  effectiveness of the  livelihood program  delivery  , noting and reporting  any  areas  where  improvements  are possible .
Specifications:
• Minimum  of a relevant  first   degree  from  a recognized  university  , preferably  in agriculture with at least  3 years  of demonstrated  experience  working  with  development  projects  in the  relevant  field  , livelihood  and income  generating  activities , preferably  with an  INGO.
• Good  understanding  of the  livelihood  development  sector  especially  in the  areas of production , value  addition  and  marketing  and  resilience  to shocks  and  stresses.
• Knowledge and experience  in the  rural  financial  services  sector  with business  development  orientation
• Experience  of direct  working  with  communities
