Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive staff on official duties within town and up country trips.
Ensure that the vehicle has valid comprehensive insurance and/or road license.
Complete logbook regularly and submit to Finance and Administration Officer.
Ensure vehicle is serviced whenever it is due.
Actively monitor the mechanical conditions of the vehicle and inform the Finance and Administration Officer so repair can be arranged
Maintain vehicle in clean condition
Support the delivery of mails to service providers, partners in and around Kampala
Ensure that the car has sufficient fuel at all times and fuelled at designated service stations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The applicants for the Driver Jobs should at least hold aan Ordinary Level Certificate with 3 passes or better
A minimum of combined collective 10 years driving experience with at least of 5 years with a reputed agency,
Possession of valid driver’s license with no endorsements in the past 10 years
Possession of valid Certificate in Defensive Driving
Past work experience with a USAID/USG supported projects will be an added advantage
Working knowledge of road routes in major districts of Uganda
Strong driving skills,
Possess the ability to identify problems in vehicle and take appropriate action.

·         Possession of a Diploma in CIPS or any other procurement professional qualification is highly desirable.

·         At least four (4) years working experience in procurement of Works

·         Excellent organisational and communication skills.

·         Good team player in a diverse environment.

·         Should be ready to work beyond normal call of duty.

·         Computer literacy skills

·         Age: Between 30- 35 years.
