•Kampala  Industrial  and Business  Park  at  Namanve is  developed according to approved  plans
•Land  allocation  Criteria  developed  and  updated  regularly
•Land  Investment  Fund is  established  and managed  effectively .
Qualifications;
•Bachelors  Degree Civil  Engineering  or  equivalent  from  a recognized  university   and a
•Postgraduate  Degree  in Civil  Engineering  or  related   from  a  recognized   institution.
•Professional  qualifications  /training  in Urbun  Planning , Construction /Project  Management , Architecture, Engineering  is an  added  advantage
•5  years  work  experience  in Construction  Management  in a  reputable .

Purpose:
The Director of University ICT Services (DUIS) will provide leadership in the development and implementation of Uganda Christian University’s ICT strategy.
 S/he will provide direction to the UIS department by ensuring proper envisioning, planning and coordination, development and guidance on strategy implementation and evaluation and will be responsible for the implementation of ICT strategy that caters for Faculty, operation business
processes and student needs.
Qualification and Experience:
1. Must be a person of strong faith and integrity and a committed Christian;
2. Should have at least seven (7) years experience in a relevant or similar position, at least five (5) of which should be at a senior level post;
3. Must have ICT project management experience;
4. Should have a good Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering related field from a recognized institute of higher learning;
5. Engineering, IT or Computer Science related professional certifications will be an added advantage;
6. Strong team leadership skills and demonstrable knowledge of strategic planning;
7. Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
Job Description:
1. Provide direction for strategic and yearly planning, development, evaluation and coordination of the ICT resources of the university;
2. Facilitate communication between faculty, management, vendors and other ICT stakeholders both in the university and externally;
3. Overall oversight forICT Infrastructure, Information Systems and other ICT support functions;
4. Responsible for the over-all management of various aspects of ICT plans and projects, including voice, data, imaging and office automation;
5. Developing and overseeing the implementation of ICT polices;
6. Oversee the design, development, implementation and evaluation of systems that support end users in the optimal use of ICT resources in line with the university ICT Policy.
