Job Summary:
The Manager, Strategy & Investor Relations will be responsible for the implementation of the Bank's strategic risk management process as detailed in the bank's risk management policy as well as planning and executing the Bank's stakeholder management and engagement model.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Strategy:
• Coordinating the strategy formulation process as well as functional plans to achieve the same
• Maintaining the Bank's annual rolling strategic plan as an input into the annual planning processes (Budgets & Forecasts) and monitoring and evaluating the implementation progress
• Identifying, assessing and preparing Board updates on the potential risks posed to the Bank's strategy
2.     Investor Relations:
• Develop, maintain and implement the stakeholder mapping and engagement plan to ensure consistent market communications
• Preparation and consolidation of the Bank's annual and mid-year report as well as adequate distribution to the respective stakeholders
• The job holder will be monitoring the Bank's share performance on the stock exchange, assessing market valuation and providing assessments for input into the Board and Executive committee reporting processes
• Oversee analyst, rating agency, fund managers, regulators, financial media and other stakeholder relationships
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The job holder should possess a post graduate certification, preferably an advanced business degree
• Strong business or commercial awareness with a strategic orientation
• Good understanding and knowledge of markets and economic fundamentals
• High self Initiative, planning and persuasive ability
• Proven communication skills especially oral presentations to senior level audiences is mandatory
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to work effectively as a team member and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data and issues
• High level of energy and initiative

Peace Corps (PC) is an agency of the United States Government, which brings American volunteer development workers to assist Uganda in capacity building and technical assistance activities in Health, Education and Community Economic Development. There are about 160 Volunteers assigned to non-government organizations, government entities, clinics, colleges and schools. Peace Corps also aims to build cultural understanding between Americans and Ugandans.  All positions require excellent command of English, both spoken and written; native ability in spoken and written in at least one widely spoken Ugandan language.  The positions require extensive travel.
This position is aimed at providing assistance and support to American Peace Corps Volunteers for them to be effective, safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintains Peace Corps systems and further develops new systems to respond, track  all Volunteer needs for safe and secure living, working and traveling,
• Supports the program teams in new site and job development for Volunteers. This includes site identification, housing follow-up and verification, and assessment of safety and security concerns.
• Helps train trainees and Volunteers on safety and security policies and practices and supports Volunteers who have experienced a criminal action.
• Compiles data and writes reports for local and headquarters needs.
• Monitors and supports the three Volunteer resource centers outside Kampala, updates internet-based resources.
• Assists in collection of PCV stories.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science in any field.
• Experience of at least three years working in a cross-cultural setting meeting the needs of international employees and/ or customers through face-to-face and telephone, email interactions.
• Preferred experience: One year with relevant non-profit organizations or private businesses.
• Peace Corps Uganda is looking for a dynamic communicator and problem solver to fill this position.  The applicant should have the passion and creative drive to join the Peace Corps staff to support 160 Volunteers in Uganda to be effective in their assignments.
