Job Title: Communications Officer

Responsibilities
• Implement various communication plans for cross functional projects/initiatives and assist with the research , writing and co-ordination of communication publications .
•Monitor mainstream and social media coverage of sector issues/events , collate and disseminate media clippings/updates .
•Manage company media database as well as the Corporate Affairs calendar.
•Prepare minutes of meetings and archive documents
Qualifications
•Bachelor degree in Mass Communications or Marketing.
•At least 2 years proven experience in corporate communications
•Proven experience in researching , writing and managing the production of publications .
•Well developed computer skills , with a demonstrated understanding of the internet , social media , multi-media tools
•Experience in planning and organizing interviews , press conferences , corporate events and other media oriented events .
•Self-confident and sociable –ability to network effectively .

Responsibilities
•Support the Company’s decision –making by analyzing legal risks and giving appropriate recommendations
•Draft , review and participate in the negotiation of agreements and other legal documentation.
•Advise on the interpretation/application of laws and regulations particularly within the context of the company ‘s business.
•Liaise with various Government departments, agencies , joint venture partners and contractors to resolve contractual and other legal issues .
•Provide support in meeting the Company ‘s regulatory and contractual obligations to Government agencies and Joint Venture Partiners.
Qualifications
•Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Law (Upper Second) from a recognized University
•A Masters degree with oil and gas , business or environmental law specification would be an added advantage .
•Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre
•At least five years professional work experience in the oil and gas industry or a law firm or other commercial environment
•Proven experience in contract grafting and review

Responsibilities
•Develop appropriate studies and geological models for exploration and appraisal areas.
•Participate, develop and guarantee the quality of geo-petroleum evaluation and synthesis at regional , prospect and field scale.
•Ensure validation of well location, geological well proposal and data acquisition programs, guarantee reliability of well results, analysis and interpretation.
•Conceive and validate evaluation methods.
Qualifications
•Masters or Engineering degree in Geology or equivalent in Earth Sciences
•Minimum 12 years in geology for petroleum exploration.
•Experience in petroleum basins, prospects and field assessment, resources and risk evaluation.
•Good background of wellsite geology, well design and well operations.
•In depth knowledge of geochemistry , sedimentology , structural geology , Petrol modeling and geo-information system.
•Knowledge of OIL and Gas industry policies and procedures in the Geology discipline
