Job Summary:
The Administrative Secretary will provide secretarial, knowledge management and office administration services to the Authority.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

-Typing correspondence, formatting and editing reports and letters such as letters, office memos, circulars and other office communication.
-Dealing with incoming email, receive and relay telephone messages and fax messages.
--Receiving and directing visitors, clients/ customers to the offices, taking telephone calls, responding to routine inquiries and operating office equipment.
-Filing and keeping custody of office documents, reports, correspondence maintaining and updating office records and information.
-Receiving, sorting, registering and routing office correspondence to action centers, as well as recording incoming and dispatching outgoing mail.
-Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing.
-Arranging travel, visas and accommodation and, booking flights, hotels, travel documents, transportation and expense claims.
-Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, seminars, conferences and conference calls.
-Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them appropriately.
-Organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments.
-Provide comprehensive secretarial, administrative and personal support to top management.
-Taking dictation and minutes.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

-All candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degrees in Secretarial studies, Office Management and any other related fields.

Job Summary:
The Programme M&E Officer will be responsible for strengthening and improving monitoring and evaluation systems within the districts to ensure that the project implementation is in line with National Strategic Plans, Policies and Guidelines. He/She will coordinate and manage the M&E related Country interventions and personnel for SRH/
MCH projects in Uganda country Programs. He/She will also provide technical assistance to projects staff and partners in developing performance indicators and design data collection tools.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

-Initiate the development/review of key SRH/MCH M&E documents that include the M&E Plan, PMP and Implementation schedules among others.
-Offer support and review the project plans, agree on performance indicators, methods of information collection and storage, monitoring time frames and roles/ responsibilities for SRH/MCH Country Programs.
-Assess projects staff, local government staff, community Health Workers and VHTs’ capacity needs to appropriately use the activity report tools/forms and other performance related monitors for SRH/MCH projects in Uganda country programs.
-Take lead in database development and maintaining the projects information management system for the projects area and update the APD for all SRH/MCH country projects.
-Establish a Monitoring mechanism to provide timely feedback on projects progress at all levels and all times.
-Build capacity of projects staff and key implementing partners through on job training support

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

-The applicant should hold a Degree or training in Environmental health, bio-statistical analysis and data management.
-Professional training in M&E with at least four years experience in designing and implementing participatory M&E systems.
-Experience in operations research an added advantage.
