Job Title: Clinical Officers
The Infectious Diseases Institute supports roll out of Audit Safe Male Medical circumcision services as part of HIV prevention across eight districts in Uganda
Requirements:
• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health
• Formal Training in SMC service delivery from a recognized institution will be an added advantage .
• Additional training in provision of comprehensive HIV/AIDS services will be an added advantage
• Must be registered with the Allied Health professionals Council
Abilities;
• Minimum of two year work experience preferably in a circumcision surgical setting
Duties;
• Conduct safe medical circumcision surgery for adults at respective fixed or mobile sites
• Ensure documentation of all surgical and follow up procedures
• Ensure that circumcisions are carried out safely in accordance with agreed policies
