Job Description:
Our Client, an international NGO operating in the countries of Uganda, DRC, Sudan and Central African Republic is seeking to recruit for the following national positions based in Kampala to support their projects

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Office, the role is to coordinate all fiscal and administrative functions, financial management and budget projections, development and management of operations systems and administration
Key Accountabilities:
•Provide financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization
•Develop and enhance, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall effectiveness of the organization
•Coordinate all tax related obligations of the organization
•Ensure continuous improvement of the budgeting and forecasting process through education of management of economic issues impacting the company’s financial performance
Qualification, Relevant work experience and skills
•Minimum of Bachelors Degree in accounting, CPA preferred and MBA a plus
•10 years’ experience with a balanced combination of education and experience
•Competency in Microsoft applications as well as the pertinent financial management systems
•Proven ability and experience in non-profit fiscal management with a minimum of 10 years previous work experience and advanced knowledge of accounting and financial systems
