Job Title: Sales and Marketing Specialist
Job Type: Full Time
Reports to: General Manager
Job Purpose:
Sales and Marketing Specialist sits at the intersection between marketing and
sales, but it also reaches into new product or service development.
We require a person with a strong commercial awareness, impeccable presentation
and interpersonal skills as well as drive, determination, an eye for
opportunities and a talent for orchestrating spaces where customers, markets
and partnerships can be brought together to create opportunities for growth.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully engaging in direct sales
and managing the sales team
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s
customer base and ensure its strong presence
• Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of
sales and marketing representatives
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering
with them and understanding their needs
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the
management team
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new
products and competition status
• Identifying new sales leads
• Pitching products and/or services
• Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
• Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s
products
• Developing quotes and proposals
• Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
• Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
• Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media)
to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions
about purchasing
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set
up meetings
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

Education /Qualifications: BS/MS degree in business administration or a related
field
Experience/Knowledge: 2-3 years for experience in a related field
