Job Details;
Service and Computer Industries Ltd (aka NCR) is a Ugandan company which was established in 1962 to provide IT solutions throughout east and central Africa. A vacancy exists for a well-qualified and experienced person as indicated below.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•Developing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with acceptable labour laws, practices and SCI vision.
•Managing the recruitment process, development and implementation of performance management systems in line With the SCI strategic and operational plans, including staff trainings.
•Managing employee relations, welfare and benefits in accordance with the HR policy.
•Preparation and review of employment contracts.
•Providing advice and counsel on HR management principles to all departments.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
•The applicant should hold a post graduate diploma in HR management. A bachelors degree in Human Resource or other management courses.
•Preferably a member of professional HR associations
•A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in HR management positions.
•Strong problem solving skills and making strategic decisions.
•Ability to communicate effectively orally, and in writing.
•Knowledge of national employment and labour laws.
