Job Title: Income Generating Activity Officer

Responsibilities;
•Help small scale local farmers to identify and develop market links for their products such as honey, tree seedlings , crop produce , etc ,
•Collect relevant data for socio-economic monitoring and studies for best IGA development and implementation of work plans and budgets ;
•Distribute inputs to project beneficiaries and maintain accurate records of the same;
•Work closely with other technical officers (Soil and Water Conservation officer , Agro forestry Officer , M&E officer , etc) to generate success stories emanating from the project ;
Requirements;
•First degree in Agricultural economics /Agribusiness management, economics, business development. Post graduate studies in enterprise and business development is an added advantage.
•Four or more years work experience with a focus on business and enterprise development or related interventions ; however a candidate is highly preferred to have good knowledge and understanding of agricultural business development and market linkages .
•Familiarity with Non government, government and foreign and project operations.
•Computer literacy with standard business software including Word , Excel and PowerPoint .
