Finance Trust is one of the oldest Microfinance Institutions in Uganda having started its operations in 1984. The company is licensed and regulated by Bank of Uganda as a Microfinance Deposit Taking Institution (MDI) and is recognized as a key player and part of Uganda's formal financial sector.  The company has one of the largest branch networks in Uganda with 31 interconnected branches strategically positioned all over the country and serves over 200,000 customers with a variety of savings and loan solutions including business loans, salary loans, school fees loans, savings accounts, fixed deposits and a money transfer service through Western Union, MTN Mobile Money, Warid Pesa and M-Sente.

Job Summary:
The Branch manager will plan, supervise, coordinate, implement and manage the business operations, people and processes at the branch, in line with the established policies & procedures to achieve set targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, budget and co-ordinate branch operational & business activities.
Build and grow a quality loan portfolio.
Market the credit and savings products in line with the marketing strategy
Oversee the back office banking controls in line with the company's risk management flame work.
Guide, develop and motivate branch staff.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Applicant should hold a Bachelors degree in Commerce, Marketing, Accounting,. Business Administration or any The other related business discipline gained from a recognized university.
A minimum of six (6) years working experience gained from a financial institution, two (2) of which must be from a leadership position. (Commercial banking experience will be an added advantage).
Good leadership skills.
Good personal presentation.
Good sales & marketing skills.
Ability to work under immense pressure and minimal supervision.
