Job Summary:
• He will be answerable to the SAGE Operations Manager.
• S/he is responsible for District MS Officers ;Secretariat IT Support Officer and Contracted MIS Consultants/ Engineers.
• S/he will lead all MIS activity within the SAGE pilot, with responsibility for ensuring smooth operation of the MIS functions and preparation of beneficiary payrolls.
• They will ensure all staff involved in use and management of the MIS, including in the District offices , are performing to a high standard and delivering the required deliverables
Qualifications;
• An MIS specialist with an appropriate degree-level qualification in IT and at least 10 years experience in managing MIS systems for large, complex programs including hardware, programming .
• Advanced database Management , Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and SQL Skills , advanced software development and programming skills , Experience in Windows Server (2008 and SBS 2011) and Linux Server administration .
• Experience in Managing Microsoft Exchange Server , Knowledge of IIS Web server and web applications , Networking Skills , Experience in using reporting tools such as Crystal and Advanced skills in MS Office .
