Job Title: Driver - 11 Posts

Employer: Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development (MGLSD)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Job Summary:

The job holders will drive and maintain the vehicle in accordance with the transport policy; and as directed by the supervising officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Driving vehicles for official duty and assignments;
•Carrying out basic maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle;
•Reporting major technical mechanical faults to the supervising officer;
•Maintaining basic records regarding the vehicles as instructed;
•Ensuring the safety of the vehicle while on duty.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

•A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a pass in English Language.
•Possess valid driving permit of class E, held for the last three years.
•Driving experience in a reputable organization for at least two years.
•Basic Knowledge of mechanical and vehicle maintenance;
•Clean driving record;

 Personal Competencies:

•Public Relations and Customer Care;.
•Time Management;
•Flexibility, Ethics and Integrity
