Job Title: Production Officer (2 Career Opportunities)

Reports to: Production Manager

About QCIL:
Quality Chemical Industries Ltd (QCIL) is a pharmaceutical plant, producing anti-retroviral and anti-malarial drugs at Luzira Industrial Park in Uganda. QCIL is a joint venture between Quality Chemicals Ltd-a local drug distribution company and Cipla Ltd-a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer from India.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

=Ensuring that appropriate validations and calibrations of equipment are well effected and records taken
=Maintaining up-to-date documentation including SOPs, change control systems and procedures
=Raising T.I sheets for product process and cleaning validation of purified and portable water analysis as per schedule
=Monitoring punch and dies inventory records

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

=The Production Officer should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
=At least a year’s experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing set up.
