Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• The Receptionist will answer and manage all incoming calls at the main switch board
• Provide timely information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.
• Take and relay messages to the relevant offices
• Receive, interact with incoming visitors and direct them to the relevant offices
• Receive & sort staff letters and company documents
• Responsible for the general upkeep & corporate image of the reception area
• Offer general administrative and clerical support
• Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The Receptionist should preferably hold a diploma/degree qualification in secretarial studies/ science OR Public Administration.
• A minimum of three or more years’ experience in a similar position.
• Working knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Possess the ability to work at a switch board
• Detailed working knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Possess the ability to develop and maintain a good working relationship at all levels and with different customers
• Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters.
