 Job Title: Mechanic Trainees x4 at CNOOC Uganda Limited


Job Description


Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.


Primary function:

Learn executing oilfield mechanical Equipment operations and participate in oilfield mechanical equipment common maintenance and preventive maintenance.


Responsibilities:


• Participate in executing new oil field mechanical commissioning and start-up.

• Assist in collecting mechanical- related issues left out by the engineering unit and follow up. Learn to manage emergency response as per Emergency response plan.

• Participate in operating mechanical equipment, checks and records management.

• Assist in handling mechanical abnormalities and reporting to senior mechanical technicians; cooperate with other departments when necessary.

• conducting routine

• Participate in executing mechanical equipment preventive maintenance as per PM plan.

• Ensure worksite cleanliness and safety is maintained.

• Support in coordinating and supervising

• mechanic-related contractor onsite work.

• Execute instruction from senior mechanic technicians.

• Perform other duties assigned by superiors.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• At least 0-2 years’ work experience is preferred with Oil & Gas industry background.


Knowledge:

• Knowledge of mechanical and preventive maintenance.
