 Job Title: Safety Assistant at CNOOC Uganda Limited



Job Description


Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.


Primary function:

Support the Implementation of HSE regulation, and identify potential hazards to avoid accidents or incidents on site.


Responsibilities:


• Support emergency response as per emergency response plan, support oilfield manager to carry out emergency handling.

• Participate in oilfield onsite safety and health management implementation. • Participate in supervising safety and health precaution methods carried out by the work team, and supervise work safety.

• Assist with safety and health equipment management, supervise and ensure all systems and equipment comply with safety regulations.

• Participate in organizing safety- related equipment checks and records, and report abnormalities in a timely manner.

• Support safety of onsite operations, participate in safety situation analysis and prepare precautions.

• Participate in environmental-related near misses, accidents and incident reports and cooperate in incident handling and audit.

• Assist to prepare environmental relative work plan and summary, and cooperate with supervisors to control the environmental budget.

• Assist to organize environmental protection-related equipment, routine checks and records, and reports abnormalities in a timely manner.

• Support in raising safety-related equipment purchase requirements. Support safety-related contractor- onsite management.

• Conduct onsite training. safety-related

• Perform other tasks assigned by the superior.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Management, maintenance major Petroleum

• At least 2 years of experience in Safety Management.


Knowledge:

• Extensive knowledge of QHSE management.

• At least 2 years of experience in Safety Management.


Knowledge:

• Extensive knowledge of QHSE management.

• Knowledge regarding QHSE regulation.
