District Clinical Mentor at Management Sciences for Health in Uganda

Job Title: District Clinical Mentor.
Management Sciences for Health is an International Organization .
Responsibilities;
• The Clinical Mentor will be a clinician with experience in providing comprehensive HIV/TB services , including anti-retro viral therapy , who will travel frequently to health centers in the District Based HIV/TB Program areas to introduce and improve the quality of these services.
• She will ensure that all HIV/TB services meet national guidelines and treatment protocols and that each health center meets national accreditation standards .
• She will train and support new clinical mentors identified by the DBHP to improve access to and the quality of comprehensive HIV/TB services .
Qualifications;
• Clinical health care professional (Medical Doctor , Clinical Officer , with training and at least 3 years experience in provision of comprehensive HIV/AIDS & TB services , including ART.
• Knowledge and experience in Provider Initiated Counseling and testing , TB-HIV, Integrated Management of Audit Illness and palliative care.
• Experience working in a health center environment desirable.
