Job Summary: The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions and maintenance of the general ledger.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
=The Accountant must hold a good bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
=Professional accounting qualification i.e. CPA Part II would be an added advantage.
=A minimum of three years’ experience in busy accounting environment and preferably service industry.
=Hands-on experience in Tax (VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, Standard Levy & Income Tax)
=Practical experience and knowledge in implementing stock control procedures
=Excellent presentation skills
=High degree of Confidentiality and integrity
=Possess the ability to work under pressure
=Ability to work with minimum supervision
=Strong interpersonal and communication skills
=Good client relations skills
=Personal commitment to issues of environmental and social sustainability
=Stress management skills and capabilities
=Interest to work in early stage and fast growing environment
=Computer literacy skills a requirement
