Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draw and manage budget and strategic plan for the Aftersales department to ensure Aftersales profitability.
- Manage the entire Aftersales business operation, Service management, Parts operation and Customer satisfaction.
- Steer and motivate Aftersales employees to effectively operate the department at maximum efficiency and productivity, whilst ensuring that the department’s business targets are achieved.
- Drive and promote Nissan Dealer Operating Standards.
- Ensure workshop efficiency, availability of adequate shop capacity and general maintenance.
- Keep updated with all service publications and ensure that all employees are kept informed about publications and are aware of product changes and sen/ice methods.
- Ensure adequate inventory management as per budget requirements.
- Manage compliance and adherence to proper service shop and parts warehouse procedures.
- Keep updated and comply with HSE policies and procedures and keeping a high profile on all HSE matters.
- Ensure continuous skills development of Aftersales Personnel.
- Responsible for personnel planning to meet future requirements and objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must possess a relevant University Degree.
- Desirable to have completed a mechanical /electrical course at a technical school, or have acquired equivalent experience and qualification which includes business experience in automotive trade.
- Possess negotiating, organizing skills and great appreciation of his duties.
- Exceptional outstanding problem solving skills, proven track record with regards to achieving results
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Skills in people management & team leadership.
- Possess the ability to work under minimum supervision and under pressure.
- High degree of integrity and flexibility.
- East African citizens are encouraged to apply.
