Duties and Responsibilities:

·         In charge of assessing and examining patients in order to make proper diagnosis and treatment;

·         Work closely with operating theatres, outpatient, inpatient clinics and community care settings.

·         Ensure proper management of general outpatient clinics, in patients, emergency eye clinics and specialist clinics;

·         Ensure that ophthalmic conditions are well managed, taking into account both medical and psychological aspects of patient care;

·         In charge of conducting surgical procedures.

·         Work closely with other team members in a multi-disciplinary team that includes consultant Ophthalmologist, ophthalmic clinical officers, nurses and other members;

·         Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·         The applicants for the Ophthalmologist vacancy should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery.

·         Possession of a Master’s Degree in Medical Ophthalmology.

·         Hold a valid Practicing License

·         Age: 28-55 years
