Job Title: Financial Controller
Spedag Interfreight Uganda Ltd is the leading clearing, forwarding and freight logistics company seeks to recruit charismatic , motivated persons to fill the position listed .
Job Purpose;
•Review Job File records in the company’s financial system against physical documents (files ) to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
•Verify all costs incurred on each job file to ensure that they are correct and have been billed to relevant parties as appropriate and applicable .
•Liaise with all operations and section heads and accounts staff to ensure that any discrepancies noted during job file audit are resolved in a timely manner
•Prepare monthly lists of un reconciled file records and ensure Heads reconcile un invoiced files on time .
Qualifications;
•Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Computing , Statistics , Economics or equivalent .
•A bias in accounting and or auditing is an added advantage.
•Basic knowledge in the clearing and forwarding industry is an added advantage .
•Computer skills in financial systems
