About Us:
Wagagai Ltd is a leading horticultural farm situated in Entebbe and has been in existence for the last 15 years. We are looking for a competent Accountant, who would give solid support to the Accounts Manager to effectively run our Accounts Department. This is Middle Management position within the organization. We offer Attractive remuneration in line with our existing salary scales.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
=The Accountant must possess a good accounting degree i.e. Commerce, Business Administration or Bachelor of Science in Accounting
=Professional qualifications in ACCA.CPA
=Exposure and experience in a highly controlled and disciplined setting will be an added advantage.
=The applicant must possess a proven ability to report under tight deadlines.
=At least three(3) years experience in working in a busy accounting environment.
=Experience in handling tax matters and statutory obligations.
=Proficiency in any accounting software, payroll software and spreadsheets.
=Ability to pay attention to detail.
Person specification:
=Willingness to reside within 25km from the Head office.
=Age: below 35 yrs.
