Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Assistant Law Enforcement Officer will ensure that national laws and Council by-laws are adhered to;
• In charge of detecting, arresting, preparing charge sheets and prosecuting law breakers;
• Also, sensitizing the public on crime prevention;
• Protecting life and property of the residents.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The candidates should have completed ‘O’ Level Education      
• Hold an additional Diploma in Law with formal training in Policing and Criminal Investigation activities from a recognized Institution.
• At least two years’ experience in Law Enforcement activities.
• Evidence act training skills;
• Possess the ability to communicate effectively;
• Time management;
• Physical fitness.
• Age: Between 25-45 years
