Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide guidance to Focal Persons and relevant personnel of specified districts for qualitative and quantitative data collection and quality control districts on behalf of the program.
• Liaise with DHOs, NTD Focal Persons and Health Department Statisticians and program personnel to ensure that program indicators are being adhered to and met in a timely manner.
• Regularly provide guidance to FPs, Sub-county Supervisors and CMDs on data collection for the activities in assigned districts.
• Report to the M&E Specialist on the progress in the districts on a weekly basis, including the submission of weekly district progress reports.

• Provide regular spot checks to audit data collected in the field.
• Enter data into the M&E database as advised by the M&E Specialist.
• Continually monitor the availability of data, (inputs and data sources), the flow of data, identify and report gaps to the M&E Specialist.
• Work with the various authorities to implement recommendations to address current gaps in data collection, data inputs, sources, flow, forms, registers and reports; suggest additional strategies for strengthening data collection and interpretation as appropriate.
• Ensure the integrity of data, possibly including data extraction, processing, storage, manipulation, and analysis.
• Other duties related to data management and analysis as assigned by M&E Specialist.

Required qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Statistics
• Strongly conversant with statistical programs, including SPSS or Stata
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Access)
• Strong communicator and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented setting
• Willingness to live upcountry for the duration of the assignment and travel extensively within the assigned districts
• Self-starting and able to work with minimum supervision
