Programme Administrator Job Vacancy at Makerere University in Kampala

Job Title:Programme Administrator. (NORHED Institutional Development Programme)

Employer: Makerere University

Duty Station:  Kampala

Reports to: The Programme Coordinator

Salary Scale: M6

Role:  Responsible for general administration of the NORHEAD Institutional
                        Development programme.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide general administrative support
2. Maintain all administrative records
3. Timely communication on matters concerning the programme
4. Record proceedings and minutes of programme meetings
5. Coordinate, organize programme management and programme implementation committee meetings.
6. Manage assets under the programme
7. Participate in compiling progress and annual reports on the status of the programme.
8. Provide administrative support where necessary to Project Principal Investigators.
9. Perform any other official duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum required qualifications:

• Masters degree from a recognized Institution in any field.
• An honours Bachelors degree in from a recognized Institution in any field.

Added Advantage;

• Training in Project Planning and Management.
• Experience in Institutional/Donor funded projects.

Remuneration: UGX 2,825,895 per month (Consolidated)

Required experience: A minimum of five years of related work experience.

Age Limit:Applicants should be below 50 years of age at the time of application

Tenure of Appointment: The appointment shall be for a contractual period of two years with effect from the date of assumption of duties with eligibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance.
