Several Vacancies at Makerere College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS)

Department of Political Science and Public Administration.

Job Title:Lecturer (4Positions)
   
Qualifications:

(i) PhD in Political Science, Public Administration or International Relations.
(ii).MA. Political Science, Public Administration or International Relations.    
(iii).An Upper Second BA(Social Sciences) degree Majoring in Political Science, Public Administration or International Relations.                                                
                                 
Duties:            

-Teaching, examining and grading of graduates Supervision of research for graduate and undergraduate students
-Mentoring junior staff in academic growth and research

Qualification:

3.Department of Mental Health and Community Psychology

a)Post:Professor (1Position)

Qualifications:

(i) A PhD in Psychology, preferably Counselling, Clinical or Health Psychology specialization
ii) Ten years of teaching experience
iii). Five new recognized publications since promotion to the rank of Associate Professor
iv). Supervision of 5 Graduate Students to completion. At least 2 (two) Graduate Students to completion since last promotion.

 Duties:  Teaching, examining and grading of Undergraduate and Graduates’ performance.    Supervision of research for Graduate & Undergraduate Students. Mentoring Junior staff in academic growth & research. Providing academic leadership to the department.
