Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Understand, analyze, review, document and automate the business processes and the management reporting needs and manage requirements to the project level.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• In charge of improving systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
• Oversee the implementations from analysis to deployment and support
• Offer technical solutions to address business problems
• Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures
• Actively monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports
• Mentor, coach, train and support the end users whilst troubleshooting software issues
Key Performance Indicators:
• Proven operational support for applications
• On time and on budget Project Management for application initiatives
• Develop and maintain project management plans.
• Work within agreed Project standards.
• Manage tasks and be responsible for reporting through project structures.
• Duties are carried out in a professional manner to a high standard with due care and attention to detail.
• Response time to resolve technical issues.
• Suitability of design and quality of delivery and support to the user and management satisfaction
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Master’s or a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field. Possession of a Post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline is an advantage.
• At least three years or more of relevant working experience in IT in business and functional analysis in F&B industry preferably.
• Three to five years’ experience in Software design, planning and implementing IT solutions and strategies in a reputable organization.
• Personal Competences: Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Analyzing Information, Teamwork, Software Maintenance, Written Communication, Promoting Process Improvement. Knowledge of SQL is a must.
